CEMCO® is pleased to join the efforts of the U.S. Green Building Council and LEED ® program that improves environmental and economic performance of commercial, industrial and residential buildings. The LEED ® program certifies buildings that meet standards utilizing energy, environmental design, and products as defined the LEED® rating system. The use of CEMCO products can help contribute points in specific categories. CEMCO’s products contain the following percentages of recycled steel content:


LEED 2009 (v3) for Building & Design Construction.

Under the LEED 2009 (v3) guidelines CEMCO® cold-formed steel framing and metal lath products, along with our complete line of framing and plastering accessories may contribute points in the following categories when applying for LEED 2009 (v3) certification.
